Doors-11 pm. A few people got in as the show slowly began. Dye started deejaying and gave a nice rhythm while the crowd got more numerous. After local bars closing time, the venue became crowded, and alcohol flowed. The beginning of the set was not very good but it ended in a marvelous way.
Bot’Ox played next, and they really impressed me. The duo transformed itself on stage, and into a quartet, playing guitar, bass, drums, and machines. The clubbers enjoyed this and got crazy on the sticky dance floor. There was a mask of a giant head on stage. The rather long songs punctuated with cries produced ecstasy in the audience. Everything was fluid, energetic and powerful.
Logo have recently been signed up by French label Kitsuné -smart one, it is a fresh and dancing bomb! It had been a while since I made a discovery like this one. I think I am still not over it. They made it straight to my DJs top list alongside Brodinski, Mondkopf or South Central. I would just say one thing- go see them live! I heard it was one of their first live performances, and I have to say they sounded really great.
To end it all beautifully, German Superpitcher got on stage. I don’t really know what to say about him- I only listened to the beginning of the set. It was awesome, but I had an early train to catch the morning after so I headed back home to sleep.
