Lorsque certains s'accorderont sur le choix bizarre du clip, ici on ne s'attardera que sur la qualité hyper indé (au sens british du terme) de la chanson. Mais, sachez-le, c'est à la mode de prendre des extraits de films (en somme du 'Do It Yourself'); d'ailleurs, c'est probablement aussi 'bien' que ces videos où des ados trop cool s'amusent à moitié nus - merci à TEA essentiellement pour celles-là.
BASTILLE c'est un seul gars (Dan Smith). Pour le reste, on ne sait pas grand chose, à part une affiliation au groupe 'To Kill A King' (qui fait de la musique plutôt cool aussi).
Ce qu'on peut prédire en revanche, c'est que ça risque de faire des ravages chez les filles (au moins) :
une voix jeune (poussera t-on jusqu'à sexy?), des petits synthés bien synchronisés (! - comme ici un peu), un côté légèrement planant et donc résolument indé (effet drone électronique), un côté joyeux qui se bat en duel avec le côté mélancolique et (faussement) romantique, et des paroles pas trop kitchs. Ça a déjà marché pour moi, deux heures que j'écoute la chanson sans m'en lasser.
Vous trouverez deux autres chansons, dans la même veine (mais peut-être moins accrocheuses, enfin je vous laisse juger) sur le MySpace, et un remix sur SoundCloud (le site, là aussi très à la mode, d'écoute en streaming).

BASTILLE is one guy only (Dan Smith). As for the rest, we don't know so much, appart from a certain aquaintance with another UK band 'To Kill A King' (who does really nice music as well).
On the contrary, what we can predict for sure is that it will do some damages among girls (at least) :
a young voice (can we even say sexy?), little synths fairly synchronised (! - like here a bit), a slight spacey side and therefore boldly indie (electronic drone effect), a happy side who is fighting over with a rather more melancolic and (deceptively) romantic side, and not so annoying lyrics. It has already worked for me, two hours spent listenning to this tune today, and I'm not even tired yet.
You will find two other songs of the same kind on the MySpace (maybe less catchy, but I'll let you be the judge of that), and one remix on SoundCloud (the streaming website for music, here again highly fashionable).
