Another small festival that is taking place in Normandy. The first edition’s line up had impressed everyone, and once again this year, it is a serious competition to bigger festivals like Art Rock, Les Papillons de Nuit or Les Vieilles Charrues. John, as regulars call it, blends French and local bands- which are not headlining- to world and indie music. The bar and camping will be busy, with a great atmosphere and people partying- the Norman way of course!

Back in 2010, we went to the as volunteers and it had been a great experience. They know too how to mix genres and audiences. The technical team is the best and the scenery is dreamy - you’re literally dancing on the beach. The camping is messy but you have to try it and go to the before party- there are not many people partyng, but it is rad! Everyone will be pleased and you’ll be even more delighted if you enjoy dancing on a good rock song.

The tickets are pretty expensive but the free concerts sounds really good, as usual. Much of the very active Swiss scene is to discover and we highly recommend you to go walk in the park or take part in the different workshops, which look very interesting.

This festival celebrates local and word musics. We haven’t heard of the bands that will be playing, so we are very curious about it all. The atmosphere will certainly be friendly and packed with local people. But you should come check this out. After all, nothing beats the quality of a ‘made in Normandy’ festival.

We also volunteered at this festival, and we would have run away if it had not been for the wonderful people we worked with or the incredible line up. It is a rather expensive experience, but you have to try it. All kind of musics are played there. People from Brittany will be your new friends and your neighbors at the camping will be very dirty but you won’t stop screaming ‘Dourééé’ along with them. And it wilm just be a warm-up. For those who are usually cold, take your boots, and tag along with people who have already been to the festival.

There are much more than just concerts- the show of the Jupiler stall’s girls, the flying and burning tents on the last morning, etc. Food tip: rather than eating French fries and mayo -you want to avoid going to those toilets- try thai pastas. They cost you more money but they are tastier! Rock on!
