Cooking Recipes : Homemade Pizza

For the batter you need

•    250g of flour
•    1 teaspoon of salt
•    1-2 soup spoon of olive oil
•    10g of yeast
•    1,5 dl of warmish water (not warm, not cold)

Procedure

Pour the flour into a big bowl, then add the salt. Mix it with a spoon or with your hands (don't forget to wash your hands before!).
Pour the water into a small bowl and add the yeast. Mix it very well, make sure that there are no “stones” of yeast in the liquid.
Make a volcano crater with your fist in the middle of the flour-mountain. In this crater, fill the yeast-water and the olive oil. Now strip up your sleeves and mix the batter with your hands. It should not be very sticky, so if the batter is too wet, add a bit of flour; if it is to dry (it shouldn't fall into pieces either), add water.
If you think your batter is heading perfection, put in (still in the big bowl, of course) on a warm place (e.g. on a heater). Now go to the kitchen and make yourself a coffee, because the batter needs some 30 minutes to grow.
If you see that the batter has increased his volume, it is ready to be rolled out. Find an adequate surface in your kitchen. Pour some flour on the surface to prevent the cake from sticking on it. Now roll the batter with a rolling-pin or a well-cleaned glass bottle into the shape of your oven form. Make sure that you roll it real thin, because it will become thicker in the oven. Spread some oil on the form surface and put the batter in it. Congrats, now the hardest work is done and the artistic part can begin!

For the topping you need

Well, actually there is no rule for the choice of the ingredients, so just buy stuff you like and pay a bit attention that it matches together (don't mix fish with pineapple).
Usually, the topping starts with tomato paste. Spread it on the ground of the batter. Then spice it with salt and pepper.
Now put the ingredients you have chosen and spice it again. Maybe put some greens (“the” green for Pizza is Oregano generally).
If you put some cheese, it is essential that you chose melting one, and put it on the very top, so that the Pizza will be scalloped with it.

If you make Pizza more often, you should think about preparing some hot oil. It is very easy to make but it is tasty. So just take one bottle of olive oil, and add chili peppers and some greens. After a few days, the oil gets a hot taste. You can pour a bit of it on your Pizza after it leaves the oven.
